Prayers and Resources
Each year, nine coaches of young people from
around the Archdiocese travel to Lourdes.
This year, the pilgrimage has had to be postponed.
But the coach groups are still meeting virtually.

Coach 6 from Warrington and Widnes have been doing online Alpha as a way of talking to each other and exploring their faith more.
These are a few of their comments:
Jess
Personally for me, it’s not just because we’re in lockdown and we’re bored because I’m not. I find it just takes everything off my mind.
I like talking to you guys.
Taking a break from reality.
Talking is such a great thing.
It’s nice to have the time to reflect and think about life.
Brings new ideas.
Jill
Keeping up with coach 6.
Mark
I enjoy thinking about the questions and talking with everyone and seeing everyone.
We’re not going to go to Lourdes but it’s good to still see everyone.
A community feel.
Charlotte
Been really good.
Enjoys the social aspect, getting to see people who you wouldn’t normally.
Interesting to get your brain working.
Nick
I don’t go to church often so it’s nice to have an outlet.
Nice to have something other than church with like minded people of the same age.
Living further away means I can still be involved.

Like the videos - gives you the freedom to talk about things you might not have considered about your faith.
